Protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms feature Kosovo's constitution

With the declaration of Independence in 2008, the Republic of Kosovo has become a surgical separation from her past, not having any kind of continuity or coherence in relation to its constitutional and legal past. In this way, the Constitution of Republic of Kosovo is oriented in different pro-Western values.
In this context, an important part is Human rights and fundamental freedoms, which are found in chapter 2 and 3 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, and consequently, it is one of the main features of the constitutional system of the Republic of Kosovo. This paper aims to address the freedoms and human rights in the Constitutional System Republic of Kosovo. This Constitution, the regulation of this field has made in a way highly specific and has given great importance, making this constitution a modern, westernized and considering the rights and freedoms as one of the main features of this system is what makes this system to an extent distinguish from other constitutional systems and ranked it in one of the constitutions the most advanced in the world in terms of freedoms and human rights. In this way, this paper will address ways in which the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. It has installed the system of human rights and fundamental freedoms including constitutional guarantees regarding this field. Particular importance will be devoted to two questions: Why human rights and freedoms are regarded as a key feature of the Constitution Kosovo and what made this arrangement differs from the adjustment of other constitutions have freedoms and human rights.
